The Contender

Today I am reading The Contender. It is very interesting and realistic. I am on page 111 and Alfred is working towards his goal of being a great boxer. He also has gotten threats from major to scar his face. I wonder what he will do?

Libros!

I just finished Beastly by Alex Flinn. It was pretty good....although the frst 40 pages were quite boring. The rest of the book, was sweet and charming. I really would recommend this book to others but would warn them about the first 40 pages. Also, tell them about the im conversations.
I am also reading Identical..About two twins Kaleigh and Raeanne who struggle with family problems,drugs,sex and even love. I am loving this book and blowing through it quickly.

Books

Well I have read a couple books since I last blogged.
1. I read Rag and Bone Shop. I thought this book was well written and was a very quick read for me. I really enjoyed it and would recomend it to others.
2. I read Fever 1973. I didn't enjoy this as much as I thought I would. The beginning was boring and the middle too. It really didn't get good until the end. (last 100 pages) I would not recomend this to others.
3. I read 1,000 Reasons Never to Kiss a Boy.I really loved this book. I would recomend it to every girl who like a romantic comedy.

In the end I like 2 out of the 3 books I read. I guess I like Romantic and Mysterious books. Although Fever 1973 was very informitave I wasn't into the plot.

Kite Runner

Done with the Kite Runner! There are so many reasons why!!
Here are some:
1. I love how it wasn't the cookie-cutter type of predictable story, a boy finds his inner-self...
2. I was quite a challenge to keep reading when I arrived at the part of which Hassan is raped..it was so hard to read, and I can not imagine what it was like for other people to read this and even for the author to make a descision to put that into the book.
3. I found some parts very sad especially when Hassan, his wife and Baba died.

Kite Runner

I just started this book for school, really enjoying it will probably be done by Monday!!!

Things Not Seen By: Andrew Clements

This book was so fun! I love the characters too, If you can it's a must read!!!
